Magnificent Mozart!

Join Musica Sacra and Cape Symphony for a performance of Mozart’s classic masterpiece.

In a famous scene from the movie “Amadeus,” Mozart dictates his final opus to his rival Salieri, feverish on his deathbed as he hears the beautiful music in his head.

We look at the myths and facts behind his Requiem, an extraordinary affirmation of the power of the human spirit, and we perform the choral masterpiece from our hearts.

This program will also include a performance of Mozart’s “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.”

These performances were staged at the Barnstable Performing Arts Center in Hyannis, MA, on November 3 and November 4, 2018.
